Apprenticeships

Learn while you earn with an Apprenticeship…

  • Want to start a full-time job?
  • Want to train at work?
  • Earn while you learn?
  • Get nationally recognised qualifications in your chosen job?

If so, an Apprenticeship could be for you!

What is an Apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are work-based learning (WBL) options. WBL is a way of combining work, training and getting qualifications – all while earning some money.

On an Apprenticeship, you do a real job working for a business. You also take an NVQ, and you get paid!

Apprenticeships are for people aged 16 or over; but if you're 14 to 16, you can still take a Young Apprenticeship.
