GCSEs

It is GCSE results day and you haven't got the grades you needed for your course or apprenticeship. What can you do?

Don’t panic. You may still be accepted by your chosen college, sixth form or training provider. Phone them and talk through what your options are. Find out their phone number by clicking 6th Form, College & Training, typing their name into the Search box and clicking Search, then click About Us to find their contact details.

Also, your school tutor or Connexions personal adviser may suggest another course you could take, which you have got the grades for. They might be in school on results day, or you can go to your nearest Connexions Centre.

Find out more about your options – download this guide to what to do if you haven't got your GCSE grades.

A Levels

A Level results are available from Thursday, 19 August 2010.

If you've attained your grades, congratulations, you are now about to embark onto the next exciting phase of your education and life.

If you're going to college or university, you will receive details of what to do next; if you didn't get the grades you expected, you can find out what to do next from the UCAS website. Or talk to your Connexions Personal Adviser at your school, college or local Connexions Centre.

Alternatively, click to download a copy of What's Next, a guide to help you consider options available to you.
