Duties will include:

Leading/Simple Liquidation/Probates Online:

  • Support the Client Support Administrator with answering and directing calls appropriately. Manage calls and ensure that your team members are getting back to people in an agreed timeframe. Escalating any problems/complaints as appropriate
  • Support the Business Manager and Director with other admin and project- related tasks as required within the business
  • Simple Liquidation- update pipedrive emails for the team
  • Leading/Simple Liquidation- work closely with the Business Support Administrators with pre-appointment administration checks for new insolvency clients. Utilising the in-house software and Microsoft Office
  • Contact with clients (telephone and email) to progress sales journey from initial contact, engagement through to formal appointment
  • Assisting with new client sign- on procedures (such as AMLR checks, ethical checks and engagement documentation)
  • Sending and reviewing client portal information
  • Collecting information from clients and third parties to enable instruction to proceed to appointment
  • Assisting in preparation of internal and statutory documentation for client appointment
  • Correspondence with third parties where required
  • Filing documentation into Virtual Cabinet
  • Assisting with any other matters where required

Norfolk Will Writing:

  • Answer new enquiry calls, talk potential clients through the process, ensuring you are friendly and helpful, explaining things in full and ensuring these enquiry calls are followed up by the appropriate person within the team
  • Supporting with diary management for Consultants. Maintaining regular contact with the Consultants to ensure they have everything they need ahead of each meeting. This is an ongoing project and this person will need to take full responsibility and accountability for this task
  • Data entry and management of client information to ensure database is kept up to date and tasks are allocated to the correct person
  • Taking customer payments over the telephone. Liaise with the Finance Manager in regards to any customer payment queries
  • Support the will writing team with administration duties as required, particularly during busy periods and to support in times of holidays and absences
  • Filing and ensuring the original hard-copy will filing system is accurate and up to date coded correctly on the CRM (Capsule)
  • Support with moving clients over to Direct Debit annual payments
  • Support with business development, advertising and marketing activities as required

Probates Online:

  • Learn how to process the Grant of Probate only applications alongside the Paralegal
  • Liaise with clients to gain further information for the Grant of Probate applications, if required
  • Collating paperwork and filing accurately


  • During very busy periods, answer calls and direct to the TradeBee Head Office or take detailed messages to pass on to the Tradebee team
  • Offer exceptional customer service to all enquiries
  • Support with moving service contract customers over on to direct debit payments.
  • Take payments over the telephone
  • Supporting the wider team with other administrative duties as required

General Office Support:

  • Sort, scan and label/ distribute incoming post
  • Take outgoing post to the post office and arrange for special delivery post to be sent
  • Support the team with errands such as kitchen supplies, placing stationary orders etc.
  • Filing and archiving (there will be ongoing filing and archiving projects within the office, particularly if further probate and will writing business acquisitions are made within the apprenticeship timeframe)
  • Keeping the office tidy


For the full Apprenticeship, learners will complete:

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths

For the End Point Assessment, apprentices will undertake a knowledge assessment, portfolio-based interview and project/improvement presentation.

The overall company, Leading, is a licenced Insolvency Practice.  We also own other businesses trading as the following names:

  • Simple Liquidation (insolvency)
  • Norfolk Will Writing (Will writing and estate planning)
  • Probates Online (probate services)
  • Express Will (online Will portal)

The Director also part owns another business, which operates separately. However, the main phone line is answered in the office. This is Tradebee, predominantly a plumbing business.

Level 2 Functional Skills in English & maths or GCSE Grade 4/C is preferable. If not, learners will be required to attend additional sessions.

  • You will need to be a confident communicator, as you will be dealing with a wide range of people on a daily basis. Each person you are communicating with must be dealt with in a friendly, professional manner
  • Good administration skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with using Excel and CRM systems would be an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Diligent record keeper, ensuring processes are followed accurately
  • Well organised
  • Be able to take comprehensive notes while receiving training, to ensure you can refer back to these notes again when completing tasks independently
  • Can demonstrate the ability to see duties through to completion and proactively seek support from colleagues if any problems or queries arise in completion of tasks
