The Higher Education Convention was on the 18th June 2008 and ran in partnership with UEA and Aim Higher.
Michelle Double the HE Convention Co-ordinator managed to get over 100 university reps and 3,500 students to participate in which turned out to be a very Informative and useful day.
The feedback we received from students was invariably positive and we’ve been told numerous times that this was a really successful event
This year, for the first time, UEA ran a series of seminars alongside the main event and their long-standing offering of campus tours.
Nicki Barrell from UEA said “The seminars were well attended and students said that they benefited from listening to academics talking about their subjects.”

The Norfolk Careers Fair held at the Forum Norwich was the next event to be organised by the Archant group and open to anyone.
The biggest single group we saw was young people asking about careers, 140 of them. We also spoke to 45 parents and 88 people asked about working for Connexions.
