IT

\connex-dclanhome$lbaldwinLucyInformation-TechnologyThe Diploma in IT will look at how organisations work and the role technology can play. You will learn what different people in the industry do – as well as how to manage projects, design new business solutions, develop websites, manage networks and deliver IT support. You will also explore the use of technology in business, and learn how to create digital media solutions to meet a customer's business requirements.

The Diploma in IT will help you develop the skills, knowledge and understanding you need to succeed at college, university or employment. It will also give you an idea of the wide range of career and further study options available.

As part of your programme you will have ten days' real work-based learning in an IT industry setting.

Important – If you plan on going on to Higher Education after your Advanced Diploma, talk to a teacher or adviser about your Additional/Specialist learning choices. What you choose may restrict which Degree courses you can take.

If you've got a specific university or course in mind, contact the university's Admissions office and ask them about which Additional/Specialist learning they recommend.
