• Get nationally recognised qualifications in your chosen job?

Work-based learning like apprenticeships let you work and earn money while learning and getting qualified. Work-based learning could be for you!

Getting a Job

All the jobs on help you choose are suitable for 16–19s. But there may be other jobs available that aren't advertised here.

Why not look for jobs in these places:

• other job vacancies websites
• Jobcentre Plus
• the job sections of local newspapers
• register with local employment agencies (have a look in our Employment Agencies section)
• notice boards at school, sixth form or college
• local shop windows – this is especially good for finding part-time jobs.

Don't forget to ask your friends and family if they know of any job opportunities you could go for.
