You have to use the UCAS website to apply for most higher education. The closing date for standard applications is in January – but most people apply well before then.
UCAS allows you to apply to up to five courses on one form. Your applications are concurrent (this means they are all considered at the same time, without any reference to each other). Consequently you can receive up to five offers of a place.
When all your choices have replied you have to narrow down to a maximum of two offers. You decide on a first (or firm) offer and a second (insurance) offer.
Remember – ask someone for help if you get stuck.
Do you know what to look for in a course? For all this and more, visit the help you choose Library. There's all the information you need on higher education, qualifications, Apprenticeships, jobs and more…
